NAME: Mackenzie 'Kenzie' Ashby-Summers

RELIGION: Doesn't care. Seriously.
POWERS: Fear/Adrenaline manipulation. She can make you scream at the sight of kittens, have your fears be completely disabled, get you completely pumped, or oddly placid. She can do this to a person starting as soon as she sees them, though the effects grow weaker the farther away they get from her.

HISTORY

Mackenzie, for the most part, has lead a charmed life. Born to the famous defense lawyer, Charles Ashby, and his super-surgeon wife, Nichole Summers, she was pampered from the moment she entered the world.
Growing up in one of the wealthier neighborhoods of the city, Kenzie knew little of the world outside of her white picket fences, trimmed hedges and swimming pools. This was brought into a harsh reality check when she was kidnapped at the tender age of nine along with her two older siblings.

The perpetrators were relatives of two young girls who had been allegedly murdered by one of Charles' clients, who had defended and gotten minimal jail time for. Believing their family deserved more justice, they decided to at least give the lawyer some taste of what they had gone through. Though in the beginning they hadn't meant to really hurt any of the children, things soon spiraled out of control. The children were heavily mistreated and abused to an extant border-lining torture. Luckily, they were saved just in time by the police.

But this still had lasting effects on her family as a whole. She and her siblings were scarred for life- couldn't speak about anything for several weeks, and this caused much fighting between their parents Her much older siblings moved far away from LA after graduating from highschool, and her parents divorced not long afterward. This left Mackenzie feeling horribly alone, and often frightened. Though after a while she began to deal with it, though not in the most healthy of ways. Mackenzie now completely denys that it ever happened, and when asked about why her siblings moved away or why her parents separated, she'll simply mumble something about the death of a relative before changing the subject.

Odd things began to happen as soon as her mother began dating again. As soon as most of the boyfriends met Nichole's 'charming' daughter- they broke up with her. They claimed there was just something about her, her daughter, and even their house that wasn't right- that was strange and scary. Though these claims were usually shrugged off, eventually some people started to suspect Mackenzie of having a hand in it.

Now a teenager, Mackenzie is burning her way through the city- caring little for her expensive private schooling and more for the clubs and parties that can be found all around. She knows how quickly life can turn on you, and how quickly you can lose everything. Knowing this, she lives everyday like it's her last. Carpe diem all the way, baby.

PERSONALITY

First and foremost, Mackenzie comes off as a brat. Acting every part the sophisticated lady around adults (especially around parents, teachers, or people she sees on a regular basis), she has a completely different face when they're not around. Loud, egotistical, bubbly, and wild come to mind. though Kenzie acts like the expected spoiled princess, she has enough wit and tact to keep herself afloat in a sticky situation.

Kenzie seems very comfortable with herself this way, so much so that one would expect that she acted similarly to this her entire life. This is anything but the case, seeing as before certain events she was a very sweet, shy, and rather sensitive girl. Then for a while she was almost emotionless, before slowly becoming a very loud, obnoxious, and overly upbeat person.

Though she comes off as completely confident on the surface- Kenzie is probably one of the most insecure people you'll meet. Her hair, clothes, personality, parents, friends- she worries about everything not being good enough. But most of all she fears being forgotten and being abandoned- being left all alone in the world. This can most likely be attributed to the kidnapping incident, when for a while she believed that she was going to die there. That her parents didn't love her anymore, and that no one cared about her.

Because of those phobias, she is anything but a loner. She still has few 'real' friends, and is insanely loyal to those few people she actually cares about. Ironically, she has no problem screwing over people she doesn't believe are her 'real' friends. What designates someone as a friend to her is unknown, and it's likely that she doesn't even know herself.

APPEARANCE

Mackenzie over all is pretty average, not very tall or short and of average weight. In body structure she is more on the petite side, not very accustomed to hard work. Her skin his naturally pale, though she prefers to have it tan (either by sunbathing naturally, in tanning salons, or using expensive make up to fake the appearance). She does have a tendency for having wild hair- dying and styling it in odd fashions as a form of rebelling against her parents. Though she usually changes it often, at the moment she seems to be sticking to having it dyed a powder-blue color.

Her wardrobe is quite large, and usually up to date with the latest fashions. Kenzie is a bit more on the feminine side, and prefers to wear skirts to pants. She'll go with either though, as long as it's cute and looks good. The girl also spends a bit of time on her make up and hair, skilled in the art of applying it from years of practice. In short spends time to make sure she looks her best, and the out come is pretty good.

OTHER

Kenzie is a fictional character for Resolution Remix and is a creation of that one crazy cat lady. She is PB Nagisa Sagan from Loveless, which she does not own. Don't sue plzkthnxbai.
